Video Surveillance

to see and be seen

Effective and efficient camera detection

server- or cloud-based

Alertis is a direct partner and integrator for Avigilon and Ava Security. Both companies are part of Motorola Solutions.

When it comes to video surveillance, you can choose a “server-based” system in which the cameras are connected to a recording device. Or you can opt for a cloud-based system that does not require a local VMS server or recorder.

hardware and software for video surveillance

The innovative product lines from Avigilon and Ava Security include software and hardware for video analytics and management, cloud video, and security cameras. The focus is on security and user-friendliness. Searching through recordings or retrieving footage with just a few clicks, locating a specific object… it’s all possible with these systems.

integration with your fire or burglar alarm system

Video surveillance should be the final piece of your security puzzle. It serves as a means of monitoring and verifying all your security systems. Integrating your video surveillance with intrusion detection, access control, and/or fire detection provides the user with significant added value.

CCTV Legislation

The Camera Act and the Privacy Act

Security cameras are now a familiar sight. On the one hand, they make us feel safer, but on the other hand, our daily activities are constantly being recorded. This significantly infringes on our privacy.

Anyone installing a video surveillance system must therefore comply with the Camera Act and the Privacy Act. You can find more information on this in our library.

Until now, anyone who installed a surveillance camera was required to comply with privacy laws. Over time, however, it became clear that a specific law was needed to provide optimal protection for citizens’ privacy. Only in this way could the interests of all parties—both the person filming and the person being filmed—be best served. That is why Parliament passed a law regulating the installation and use of surveillance cameras. This law of March 21, 2007, is known as the Camera Law (amended by the provisions of the Law of March 21, 2018).

Nevertheless, privacy laws must still be complied with in all matters concerning the protection of personal data that are not covered by the Camera Act.

Technical Service Desk

Peace of mind when you need it

Our service desk is continuously staffed, 24/7, by experienced technicians. This service is offered to you when you have subscribed to a maintenance contract.

If necessary, the technician can remotely access your system, assist you by phone or remote video, or establish an IP connection directly with the control center.

You can always reach the Alertis service desk via the general phone number +32 51 74 71 79, regardless of your location.

Remote Monitoring via the Safespace Platform

Your security monitored, even when you are not thinking about it

Are you sure your CCTV surveillance system is not experiencing a malfunction? Who continuously monitors fault notifications? Who handles your system failures? Are these people available 24/7? These are critical questions that, if you want to address them properly as the responsible party, can cost a significant amount of money.

Alertis offers you a cost-saving and reliable IoT solution: the Safespace platform!

The principle is simple: our technician creates an IP connection between your CCTV surveillance system and the Safespace platform. You will be able to monitor your installation in real time, wherever you are. In the event of a malfunction, our service desk can already perform an initial remote intervention if necessary.

You save on maintaining your own 24-hour technical service and are assured of high-performing security.

Training

Proper training for all your users helps avoid frustrations

Our service technicians are committed to providing you with thorough training on the use of all our systems, both during commissioning and during annual maintenance. In addition, you will always receive a summarized user manual for support.

Alarm Monitoring Center Connection

Be notified in time of every alarm

Who ensures an appropriate response to an alarm when you are absent? Who takes control of an “alarm situation” in that case?

An alarm monitoring center can permanently give you peace of mind that every alarm will be handled correctly and promptly; your alarm installation continuously transmits information to the continuously staffed monitoring center. The operator will take the necessary actions, as discussed and agreed with you in advance (who to contact first, when to call emergency services, etc.).

The monitoring center can also notify you when there is no longer a telephone or internet connection.

An additional reassurance is remote video surveillance. This is the ideal solution to carefully verify every situation and respond immediately in the appropriate and efficient manner. The main objective of video verification services is to eliminate doubt and therefore provide an additional analysis of the registered alarm notification(s).

Intervention Services

Who will go on-site in the event of an alarm?

An external intervention service can respond in the event of an alarm at your site. They go on-site and take the necessary actions to protect your property and assets.

Your site is already equipped with an alarm system and connected to a 24/7 monitoring center. To ensure an adequate response to every type of incident, you must be able to rely on personnel who can intervene after an alarm while strictly complying with legal instructions and integrity regulations.

For this purpose, Alertis collaborates with the Mobile Guards of G4S.

The Mobile Guards of G4S commit to intervening very quickly to ensure the protection of the goods, equipment, and materials at your site. Once on-site, they take the appropriate protective measures on your behalf and afterwards provide you with a report. To guarantee strict confidentiality, the security information and keys of each customer are only made available to the guards at the moment of intervention. The keys are stored in a decentralized network with a key safe monitored 24/7, or on your site under optimal security conditions.
