Legislation

The law requires the registration of alarm systems. An alarm system registry has been established; this is a database managed by the Federal Public Service Interior that contains certain information related to alarm systems. If you are connected to a monitoring center, they will handle the registration for you. End users who are not connected to a monitoring center must register their alarm system themselves via www.policeonweb.be.

In addition, the user is responsible for ensuring that their alarm system is serviced annually.
